New Sidewalk - Direct Entry to Scrapbook Room

I am so excited to have the new sidewalk in.  Now, you can park at the end of the road in front of my house on the hill and unload and easily bring your items into my scrapbook room. The last part from the sidewalk to the road should be done in the next 1-2 weeks.

Celebration Cards

The same card using B&T paper the striped card is the front side of the B&T (print) paper.  I just flipped the paper over and this stars were on the back.  Every print paper with Close to My Heart has 2 patterns one on each side.  The Lanterns can be made with a scoring stylus by pressing your paper with this in the cutting space of your paper cutter.

It is so nice that on studio J  that there is such a big selections of paper kits. These are from the current catalog past catalogs and exclusive kits just for members of studio J. I also use this program to design my pages that I  make the traditional way. It is easier with the paper flipped every possible way to quickly see how I want to layout my pages. This is Dario my Spanish Son opening his first ever Easter Basket.  In Spain they do not have this holiday. It is fun to capture these memories. Plus, quickly make him pages so he can take home with him when he returns home. Now, I have pages for him and myself to cherish the memories with.

I really like how easy it is to add borders around the photos.  I also dropped in the trip arrow on layout one and the gas pump on layout 2. The other embellishments were already on the layout I just had to right click and decide what color that I wanted them.

Today worked 8 hours as a nurse then off to the YMCA to workout. Then home for dinner and chores. These are the nights that I really like digital scrapbooking. It is so easy to sit and scrap in the family room on the computer while guys are watching TV.  I can still join in on the conversations and be spending time with them. This layout I ink distressed around the white paper around the team name Vardar. Changed the paper to red with dots from black by right clicking to match the uniforms of the team. Studio J really does make scrapbooking faster, simpler, easier on busy days. Dotty - My Boys - Page 2

 Here is the 2nd page to my boys layout.  I did like the bakers twine on how it coordinated so well with Close to My Hearts Cardstock.  Also, the dotty paper in lagoon is the back of one of the print papers from this Dotty kit.  Each printed paper can be coordinated to the color of paper with dots on it so you can use either side. I did forget to list the inks on page 1 that I posted I used which are Sunset (z2191), Sweet Leaf (Z153), Lagoon (Z2195).

Dotty - My Boys Page 1 of Layout

My page I made with Dotty Paper pack to put pictures of my boys riding their bikes when they where younger. I used the design with cutting instructions to make this from our how to book Imagine - Layout "full house" page 77. I like that easy to use books show how to cut the paper the best way so there is less waste.   These books are great and make scrapbooking so easy.  These books are being retired and there are only 3 left out of 6. The second page of this layout I should have posted by tomorrow.

My Creations Card Box

The my creations items from Close to My Heart are very easy to cover with paper.  This card box is the perfect size to store cards in or use for a gift box. The flowers were very easy to cut with the Art Philosophy cricut cartridge and the family stamp I just stamped on the paper after cutting it out with the matching shape on this cricut cartridge that coordinates with the stamp set.

I love my card tree that I purchased from my friend Carleen.  I love all the cards I receive by swaps, mail and make.  I hate the thought of just putting them away when the art work is so great.  So, in my scrap space I have this metal tree about 3ft in size that I change my cards around to show.  It decorates the space and then myself and friends can enjoy the cards and use them for inspiration.
